I am going strong with my first bundle from the new 2017 Holiday Catalog and I am just loving this Painted Harvest Stamp Set!
The star of this stamp set is surely the abstract Sunflower, which makes putting the whole design together a snap! The DSP is from the Painted Autumn DSP and each piece is just gorgeous. It’s not often that every piece (double sided) is your favorite … but that just may be the case here! 🙂
I used the very ‘leafy’ print from the DSP with the main color being Garden Green. The coordinating colors are Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green and Chocolate Chip. Again… so easy to coordinate when the DSP has the matching colors in so many of the sheets.
I used a piece of Garden Green card stock and first, cut it out using the largest die from the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, then I ran it through the Big Shot using the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
I stamped the flower image on the left side of the next largest die from the Lots of Labels, using the two-step stamp in Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight. I used Chocolate Chip ink for the center of the flower. I stamped the sentiment also in Chocolate Chip ink. This sentiment is also included in the Painted Harvest Stamp Set!
I finished it off with a strip of Crushed Curry Stitched Satin Ribbon and by stamping just about a quarter of the flower image onto the lower left hand side of the front of the envelope.
