This card has one of the last backgrounds I did using the shaving cream technique that I describe HERE on a prior blog post.

This is a truly addicting technique, so be sure to have enough supplies on hand because you will want to keep going!

I used the Garden In Bloom stamp set and decided to play off the small area of pink by using one of the new In Colors, Powder Pink for the card stock, coordinating ribbon and the stamped butterfly. I used Marina Mist for the flower and another new In Color, Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves.

I added a little sparkle to the card with a large gem from the Clear Faceted Gems and a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish it off!

Once you have the focal piece done (shaving cream technique layer)…. the rest is easy. You did all the work already! Another reason to make a few, once you have all the supplies out!
