Today’s MonoMonday card is a card using the shaving cream technique that I talked about in a post a little while ago! It is super easy to do and loads of fun. You can see all the technique details HERE.

I started with an Old Olive card base and layered on a Lemon Lime Twist piece of card stock (each of the layers have a 1/8″ border). I used a piece of Shimmer Paper for the technique and started with the Old Olive ink, then the Pear Pizzazz and then the Lemon Lime Twist ink in one-third increments to cover the paper.

I cut out two of the Happy Birthday Thinlit Dies, one in Lemon Lime Twist and one in Old Olive card stock. I ran them through the Big Shot with the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets. (These sheets are a must-have for these intricate thinlit dies…no fussing with liquid glue, glue dots or tape runners! It’s a perfect job every time). I won’t use anything else now!  🙂

I ran the thinlit through the Big Shot with two different colored card stock pieces because I wanted it to have a little more dimension. And by using two colors, it makes it pop even more! Like I said, using the adhesive sheets even made adhering these two die cuts together a snap as I could place them exactly where I wanted them!  🙂

I finished the card off with a few embellishments. A Lemon Lime Twist Bitty Bow popped up on a wooden heart embellishment and three Old Olive enamel dots did the trick very nicely!
