Happy Clean and Simple Saturday! 🙂

Today’s CAS card is all about the vertical line! I used Night of Navy as my showcase color so that it is not gender specific – and still a soft designed card.

I went into my paper stock for the Delightful Daisy DSP. I have to say, it was a complete coincidence that I picked this paper for the color – never really paying much attention to the fact that it had a vertical design…until I was almost done with the project! Love when that happens!  🙂

The sentiment and topiary image is from the Vertical Greetings stamp set, which of course, I stamped in Night of Navy ink. I chose a rectangle stitched die to keep with the vertical design and stamped the image to the left a bit to leave room for two small enamel dots (Regals Collection) to balance it out.

Before I adhered the DSP to the Whisper White card base, I ran a strip of the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around it and tied a small bow. I just got this ribbon in my last order…and oh boy, additional colors just jumped onto my wish list!  🙂

I popped up the stitched rectangle with several Dimensionals and called it a good day!
