This At Home With You Bundle (stamp set and At Home Framelits Dies) is definitely not a clean and simple card…. but well worth the time you will put into it for the beautiful finished product.

I made two of these cards with this bundle for two different reasons, but with little change between the two. One card is for the lovely ladies that bought our summer/weekend home in Rhode Island and whom I know will cherish it as much as we did. <3  The other is for our fabulous neighbors that we will be missing very much as there was no better neighbor than them! 🙂

So you can see the difference being the ‘grateful’ sign I added to one of the doors. I found it easier to do all the stamping, the die cuts, the coloring and then the placement on the card. It does take time, so it may be worth it to stamp and cut out several of each piece at the same time and save them for future projects.

I used the Brick Wall Textured Embossing Folder for the background and I used a piece of DSP from the Wood Textures DSP Stack for the actual door. If you look closely, you can see that the door opens and if you look even more closely, you can see an enamel heart in the middle of the window!  🙂

The main colors I used were Wisteria Wonder and Smokey Slate. I used a bunch of Stampin’ Write Markers to color in the wreath and the flower pots. You could use any color to make these elements pop!  I ran a strip of the 1/2″ Smokey Slate Gingham Ribbon across the top of the card and also embossed the back flap of the envelope with the Brick Wall Folder for some added fun to these cards!
