Oh my goodness… this card was so much fun to make!  🙂

I knew I wanted to use the Brick Wall Embossing Folder, the Embossing Paste with one of the Pattern Party Decorative Masks… and I knew I wanted it all in the Fresh Fig ink and card stock to use for my MonoMonday card this week! 🙂   My problem was that I did not have a re-inker in the Fresh Fig color.

So, I improvised by using a Fresh Fig Stampin’ Write Marker right onto the piece of acrylic that I was using to mix the embossing paste. I added the embossing paste right on top of the colored acrylic and gave it a couple of folds with a spatula. It worked even better than I thought it would! 🙂

First I inked up the Brick Wall embossing folder with a little bit of Fresh Fig ink and then ran it through the Big Shot with a piece of Whisper White card stock. I laid one of the masks from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks(4 piece) set right over it and spread my beautiful Fresh Fig colored paste (so proud of myself 🙂 ) over the center of the card.

I used the Big Shot again to cut out the Adirondeck chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies. I used one of the papers from the Wood Words DSP Stack for the Chair. I mounted the chair on a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons stamp set in Fresh Fig and added a few strands of Linen Thread tied in a bow to finish it off.
