You all know how much I love square cards… and this was no exception! I just love this Wood Words Bundle   🙂

I am loving this Wood Textures DSP and have found that you can go as detailed as you want or as simple as you want…. because the paper does all the work for you! I made this a 5″x5″ square card with a Pool Party card base. I layered a piece of Whisper White measuring 4-7/8″ x 4-7/8″ and then the Wood Textures piece at 4-3/4″ x 4-3/4″.

I used Chocolate Chip ink for the floral stamping on the wood layer and also for that cute little rooster! I cut it out using the Wood Crate Framelits Dies. I punched out a circle after stamping that with Pool Party Ink (in the same floral design as on the wood patterned paper). Just popped that up on top of a white doily and added the sentiment! A few gold tones sequins added to the right side of the card… and I was done!
