Peace this Easter

I could not wait to get my hands on the glimmer paper from the SAB catalog… and I was not disappointed by the outcome! Of course, I started with my favorite color – Mint Macaron and that just made me even more happy!

I used a Crumb Cake card base and layered a piece from the Blooms & Bliss DSP that had the Mint Macaron color in the print. I used the oval Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies to cut out the oval shapes. I cut the egg shapes from the Glimmer Paper using the Basket Builder Framelit Dies. I also used Crumb Cake card stock to cut out the basket die from the Basket Builder Framelit Dies.

I used an Easter sentiment from the Suite Sentiments stamp set. I finished by running a strip of the Mint Macaron ribbon around the lower quadrant of the card front and then adhered all the layers. I like how the Crumb Cake card stock tones down the glimmer for a nice balanced look. 🙂
