LOLLYPOP PAPER AND INK

Made with Love

This stamp set is one of the sets that I am showcasing this month as a March Stamp Set of the Month! You will probably see many more baby cards on this blog this month as I prepare for my daughter’s first baby’s arrival in about a month! 🙂

But here is the skinny on the Stamp Set of the Month. When you buy the Made with Love stamp set and the Baby’s First Framelits set and use the Host Code on the right side of this blog post, I will send you a pdf tutorial with step by step instructions on how to make this card and also a package of Crumb Cake Note Cards and Envelopes at the end of the month as a free thank you gift from me.

Stampin' Up!, Made with Love, Baby's First Framelits Dies

Okay, so this card was pretty easy to put together, so much so that I went ahead and covered my bases with both a girl color and boy color!

I started with a 5 x 5 square piece of card stock (for this post, I will use the pink card wherein I used Pink Pirouette card stock and Crumb Cake card stock). For the boy card, I used Soft Sky card stock and ink.

I layered Whisper White, Kraft and a sheet from the Subtles DSP in the Pink Pirouette Polka Dot.

Then, I cut a 3 x 3 square of Vellum and ran it through the Big Shot with the Falling Pedals Textured Embossing Folder. I just love embossing Vellum – it gives the paper such a soft texture, which is perfect for this baby card.

I stamped a scrap of Whisper White in Pink Pirouette ink and used the Baby’s First Framelits to cut out the onesie die. I used a little bit of ink and blended in the lines of the onesie for perfect coordination of colors. I also cut out a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock from the baby hanger die and made it look like the onesie was hanging from the Vellum piece.

I stamped the sentiment from the set in Crumb Cake ink and used the banner punch to cut into the stamped scrap of Whisper White. I added one little enamel shape to the front of the onesie for a pop of color.

I know you will love this set! Check out the ‘Made with Love’ board on my Pinterest page  for about 100 more inspiration ideas using this stamp set and framelits.
