This was a really quick card I came up with for no other reason really, than to use the cute lace doily!

I started with a Mint Macaron card base and layered on a piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock behind a slightly smaller piece of printed paper that was from the Succulent Garden DSP. This print has my two favorite color combination – Mint Macaron and Sweet Sugarplum. I didn’t want to cover the Mint Macaron entirely, so I cut the card stock slightly shorter and more narrow than the base.

I stamped a sentiment in Mint Macaron from the Suite Sentiments stamp set and used one of the small Layering Circle Framelits to cut it out on Whisper White paper. I then mounted that to a slightly larger size circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Then, I adhered both circles to the small lace doily.

Before adhering the card stock layering piece to the base, I ran a strip of Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon down the left side and tied a loose knot in the upper quadrant area. I used a couple of dimensionals to adhere the lace trimmed circles to the bottom left corner of the card. And just for a pop of color inside the circle, I added a heart from the 2016-2018 In-Color Enamel Shapes pack. I also lined the envelope flap with a scrap from the printed card stock out of the Succulent Garden DSP. That was it! Done and Done!
