I just love the Falling in Love DSP, especially the sheets that pick up the Sweet Sugarplum color. This card came to be from a scrap piece of the butterfly design in that pack. I just couldn’t let it go to the scrap bin…and I’m glad I didn’t!  🙂
I started with a Very Vanilla card base. Since I wasn’t sure of the measurements for the butterfly design paper (since it was just a scrap), I added about 1/4 inch on each side on a piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock. I ran a strip of the Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon around the top quadrant, tied a loose knot and then adhered it to the card base.
I love the boldness of the Stylized Happy Birthday stamp and the softness of the floral swag that wraps around one side of it. After stamping in Smokey Slate ink, I dabbed some of the Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz ink with a blender pen and just filled in the swag with some color.
I used the square shape of the Stitched Shapes Framelits to modify it into a rectangle shape and then mounted another piece of Sweet Sugarplum behind it for a narrow frame around the focal image.
I added a small circle from the In-Color Enamel Shapes (Sweet Sugarplum, of course) and I covered the envelope flap with my very last piece of that butterfly print paper from the Falling in Love DSP (until my next order arrives 🙂  ).
