I was so excited to use the Copper Foil Sheets that I purchased a while ago and just had not had a chance to get to them! Well, I finally got to them and I have decided I just love this paper!

I am planning to use this card as my demo card for my workshop next week. I like to show the process of a card from start to finish – it really gets the creative juices jumpin’ for everyone!

I started with a Tip Top Taupe card base and layered a piece of Very Vanilla on top. I then layered the butterfly print from the Falling In Love DSP first, then another Very Vanilla and then for the focal layer – another piece of Tip Top Taupe card stock. I ran the Tip Top Taupe layer through the Big Shot using the Falling Pedals Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Before adhering all the layers to the card base, I tucked half of a lace doily under the smaller Very Vanilla layer and then adhered all the layers onto the card base.

Now comes the fun part! 🙂  I ran a piece of Copper Foil through the Big Shot with the smaller die from the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle. Did I mention how much I love this Copper Foil? It is just so pretty! I attached a few rounds of the Copper Thread behind the dragonfly and then glued it to the top layer using a fine tip glue pen. I ran the glue just down the body of the dragonfly to give the wings a little lift.

I added a sentiment in Tip Top Taupe on to a strip of Very Vanilla and attached it to the bottom right side of the embossed layer. I popped a couple of adhesive gems on the body and that was it! I really think the copper dragonfly is what really makes this card so dreamy!
