This card came together in a jiffy because my husband needed a card for a friend and colleague that was retiring!

I used Smokey Slate card stock for the base and a piece of paper from the December Paper Pumpkin Kit for the layering piece. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set, Designer Tin of Cards in Wisteria Wonder ink.

I stamped the smaller dragonfly from Dragonfly Dreams and then used one of the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlit Dies and sent it through the Big Shot. I used Wisteria Wonder ink for this also. This stamp set has 2-step stamps. This is what gives the image dimension and a very life-like feeling!

I used a fine tip glue pen to adhere the butterfly to the floral paper. I ran the glue pen up and down the center of the dragonfly to give it some dimension and lift. Before adhering the patterned paper to the card stock, I ran a sheer gray ribbon around the top quadrant of the card and tied a bow just off center.
