This was a quick and easy card that I practically stole right from the Occasions Catalog! But that’s okay and not against the law! Stampin’ Up! actually encourages people to use any or all of the finished card images for inspiration and continued creativity! 🙂

I used the Balloon Adventure Bundle for this one. This bundle included the Balloon Adventure stamp set and the Balloon Pop-up Thinlits Dies. You can see from the photo below of another card I made with the pop-up, that this thinlit set has the coolest larger size die that creates an element of surprise for the recipient. As always, when purchasing the bundle, you save 10% as opposed to buying them separately. And FYI, since this bundle is just over $50, you would be able to choose a free stamp set from the SAB Catalog!

But for this card, I started with Dapper Denim card stock and added a rectangle from the Party Animal DSP. I wrapped a ribbon around the front of the card with Emerald Envy Taffeta Ribbon and tied a bow on the extreme right side of the front of the card – to leave room for the focal image layer.

I stamped one of the balloon images and then did a quick fussy cut around the image. I used the balloon thinlit and ran that through the Big Shot with coordinating card stock, then glued that piece onto the balloon image. I stamped the sentiment in Dapper Denim right across the center of a square piece of Whisper White. I used some coordinating colors and stamped some extra fun images onto the focal layer and centered it over the DSP and ribbon. Then, I popped it up with some dimensionals and I was done! It’s not too feminine or too masculine! This paper is so fun, you do not have to adhere to any specific measurements for the layering pieces…any combination will look great!
