This card is not exactly the kind of card you want to make, but when someone asks for something special to send to someone who is hurting from a loss, you do it!

This stamp set is called Thoughts and Prayers. I just love the simplicity of the tree image. This card really did not need anything much more to embellish it.

I just layered the image on different sizes of Soft Sky and Early Expresso card stock. I stamped the background image in both Soft Sky and Mint Macaron ink and then the tree image right on top. I also stamped the sentiment in Early Expresso.

That was it! Sometimes less really is more. I love the way this card turned out.
