This card was super easy to make….once I got all the layers cut! 🙂 With this card, I used a triple layer technique to give the card some dimension and at the same time, it keeps the design cohesive from one layer to the next. Really simple – and I love the end design!

 

Here are the measurements of the layers: In this design, I used Wisteria Wonder for all the mats and Whisper White for all the image layers.

Mat 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (scored at 4 1/4″)  White 5 1/4 x 4

Mat 4 1/2 x 3 1/4      White 4 1/4 x 3

Mat 2 1/4 x 3 1/2      White 3 1/4 x 2

Once I had all the pieces cut, I put a tiny amount of adhesive on each of the two smaller white layers. I did this so that while stamping, it acted as just one layer. I stamped the sentiment (from Balloon Adventures) on the smallest layer first and then stamped the flowers randomly around the three layers. I used the stamp for the flowers from the Avant Garden stamp set. (This set is free with $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration!) I used Smokey Slate ink for the flowers and Wisteria Wonder ink for the seeds.

 

Then I added the white layers to the mats and secured them together being sure to match up the design on all three layers. I added the layers to the card base and on only the top smallest layer, did I adhere that one with dimensionals to give it a real pop! Three tiny adhesive pearls were added and I was done!
