This card has two of my favorite things… the color Mint Macaron and another one of those teeny tiny envelopes – which I just cannot stop making! 🙂

I started out with a Whisper White card base. I cut a piece of the Falling in Love DSP to 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and then cut it into three strips (about 1- 1/2″each). I made sure the design lined up and then adhered it to the Mint Macaron card stock.

I fed my addiction 🙂 and made another one of those teeny tiny envelopes. This time I used one of the Sending Love Glassine sheets. I stamped and cut one of the mini note cards using the Big Shot and tied a small bow, using the Black and Mint Macaron baker’s twine around the envelope. I just love how those mini note cards fit so cutely in that envelope!

I wrapped the same twine around the finished layer and adhered it to the card base. I popped that cute little envelope up on the twine using a couple of dimensionals. And lastly, I added a few little rhinestone gems in opposite corners of the finished card.

I also decided to add a heart to the inside of the card. So, I stamped one of the larger hearts with the floral pattern in Mint Macaron and ran it through the Big Shot using the double cut die. I just love how when you use this die, you can choose to either adhere the middle part of the heart – and have a border pop, or adhere the border to the paper – and you can have the body of the heart lift up! Either way, it turns out just beautiful!
