This card was made from the Sealed with Love stamp set bundle. The dies are from the Love Notes Framelits set. This is a fantastic bundle since Valentine’s Day has a short prep time as we are just finishing up with the holidays – it does all the work for you. And remember, buying the bundle always saves you 10%. This Sealed with Love set is also my featured bundle of the month. See my previous post for all the details on that.
So, like I said, the bundle does all the work for you! :-). I started with a piece of Kraft card stock for the base and used Kraft again for the heart shapes. Before I ran the framelits through the Big Shot, I ran it through with the Woodlands Folder to give each of the hearts some texture. (I wasn’t even sure where they were going at that point 🙂 ). I also ran a piece of Whisper White card stock with one of the square stitched framelits through to make a rectangle. The size of the white layering piece came to about 4×3.
I used the Blushing Bride ink for the background swish and the Real Red ink for the hearts (I stamped on and off for those). I also used the Blushing Bride for the sentiment “I Love You’ and the small heart-vine image centered under the white layering piece.
I arranged the hearts randomly around the swish and stamped hearts. I finished it off with some Linen Thread and that was it! You will see in future Sealed with Love posts, I am very partial to softer more natural looking Valentine’s cards. 🙂 But this design would work great with just about any color combo!
