This card was so easy to make. It is truly a clean and simple card. This stamp set is from Dragonfly Dreams and is available from the Occasions Catalog on January 4th — after the Sale-A-Bration event goes live! It is also available as a bundle, which means there is a Dragonfly thinlit set that cuts out these beautiful images flawlessly. Our bundles consist of both the stamp set and the thinlits and are always available at 10% off!
This Dragonfly stamp set is a two step stamp, which makes it all the more realistic. I used Mint Macaron ink and lightly stamped the more solid image first. Then, for the second step, I used the same color ink, but used a heavier press on the outer image of the dragonfly. With the clear stamps, you can see exactly where you need to be on the image!
There is a background stamp with this set and I used that around the corners of the white layering piece in the Soft Sky ink. I also backed the layering piece with a coordinately piece of Soft Sky card stock. I went back to the Mint Macaron ink to stamp the sentiment and that was it!
I hope you liked today’s card! If you would like to purchase any of the products I used for this project, I hope you will give me the opportunity to shop through me. I am not able to post the products that I used right now (like I usually do) until the Sale-A-Bration event goes live. This will happen on January 4th! But I can send you a catalog!
If you prefer to just browse the catalog, be sure to check out the December Closeout Specials. There are over one hundred items that are 60% off! 🙂 If you would like a hard copy of the catalog, just click on the sidebar and I will be happy to send you a free copy.
Don’t forget – Sale-A-Bration starts on January 4th and runs through March 31st! So many great new products…and when you spend $50 on either/or the Annual or Occasions catalog, you choose any FREE item out of the Sale-A-Bration Catalog!
Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments! I would love to hear from you!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you get a chance to visit again soon!
Happy Stamping!
