This card was kind of a surprise for me! It came from a request from a colleague of my husband and it was not the kind of request I was used to!

His requirements were simple…. a holiday card – without any reference to anything ‘holiday’. He did want the word ‘Love’ and a ‘Teddy Bear’ included….oh, and he wanted a size larger than the usual A2 cards that I make!

Luckily, by reaching for my ‘This Christmas’ DSP, Pretty Pines Thinlets, Softly Falling Embossing Folder and of course, my Baby Bears stamp set, I was all set!

I stamped the sentiment with the ‘Hello Love’ from the ‘Sealed with Love’ stamp set. (This is a fabulous set for Valentine’s Day or any day you want to show a little love!) I added a thin strip of Washi tape and a small red adhesive gem on the lower right corner for a little bling. This stamp set is not available until the Occasions Catalog goes live – and that will be on January 4th! This stamp set will be available to purchase at that time.

I couldn’t forget about the request for a teddy bear, so open up this card…and there he is!

And that was it! I was so uncertain how it would come out, but I have to say I am very pleased with this very ‘different’ holiday card!
