I was on a roll with using a sticky note to give the illusion of a hillside backdrop (to see how I did it, see the previous post – Christmas Wishes), and I think I like the way this one came out even better!
I used the single tree stamp from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set. I just love this stamp set and have used it more times than I can remember! This single tree has the two step stamp. As you can see, I used both stamps for the full evergreen tree, and then again on the inside of the card, I used only the bare tree trunk. Love the versatility!
I used the sentiment stamp from the Christmas Pines stamp set and used the silver stripe layering paper from the Neutrals DSP. The Smokey Slate ink paired perfectly with the silver paper. I added a sheer slate ribbon, combined with a thin silver cording and simply tied it in the center of the card. As a little added pop, I placed just a few silver adhesive gems around the image and the sentiment.
I hope you liked today’s card! If you would like to purchase any of the products I used for this project, I hope you will give me the opportunity to shop through me. I have the products listed below.
