LOLLYPOP PAPER AND INK

Christmas Wishes

With the use of a sticky note, I could get the card to pop a little by adding the illusion of hills in the background.

I used the trio of trees from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set and the sentiment is from the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set. In order to get the look of the hills in the background, I tore the side of a sticky note to a rounded edge. I used a sponge dauber and lightly sponged over the edge of the note. I did this with Sahara Sand ink, same as the tree and sentiment image ink.

I placed the tree stamp off center and used the 2″ punch for the sentiment layer. I used the single tree stamp for the inside of the card. The green layer was a piece of patterned paper from the This Christmas DSP pack, so I used the coordinating Garden Green card stock and bakers twine trio pack (Garden Green and Gold) to finish the card off. I popped a gold enamel dot right under the sentiment.

  1. I love the way you show us older cards from years past. Ideas to use with some of our old stamps that we have forgotten about.
